Miss Door County and Miss Door County's Outstanding Teen both receive scholarships during their year of service, as well as opportunities to become involved in community events/appearances, and compete at the state level at Miss Wisconsin & Miss Wisconsin's Outstanding Teen.

The Miss Door County Program was established in 1997, and has influenced hundreds of young women in the community with opportunities to share their platforms and talents, network with other young professionals, and earn scholarship money.
